DAYTIME WORK:
Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM crews will conduct a variety of work as noted throughout the Phase 3 Project limits:
- Sawcut, excavated and backfill in the Route 15 SB median and the I-691 EB median
- Maintain water handling
- Excavate and stockpile streambed channel material
- Culvert rehabilitation
- Sawcut, excavate and backfill in the I-91 SB median from north end of project limits to Exit 17 for the added lane
- Excavate jacking pits for drilling on I-91 shoulders
- Rehabilitate various culverts
- Remove existing rails on various bridges
- Relocate cable lines over the Murdock Avenue Bridge and install temporary support
NIGHTTIME LANE CLOSURES:
Sunday through Friday nights from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM crews will conduct a variety of work as noted throughout the Project limits:
- Route 15 SB from the on ramp from I-691 EB to Exit 64A for temporary widening and traffic shift
- I-91 SB (Exit 18 – 15) for bridge work, boring for overhead sign structures, and sawcutting from Murdock Avenue to the southern project limits
NIGHTTIME WORK – BRIDGE DEMOLITION/CONSTRUCTION:
Sunday through Thursday nights from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM – Please read information concerning our nighttime noise monitoring efforts here.
NIGHTTIME RAMP/ROAD CLOSURES AND DETOURS:
Closures anticipated from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM with posted detour routes, weather permitting, as follows:
- The I-691 EB ramp to Route 15 SB – Monday night, 8/10 for the Route 15 SB traffic shift
- The Route 15 SB ramp to East Main Street – Monday night, 8/10 for the Route 15 SB traffic shift
