DAYTIME WORK:
Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM crews will conduct a variety of work as noted throughout the Phase 2 Project limits:
- Excavate, backfill, formation of subgrade, place aggregate on the following areas:
- I-91 NB from the Route 15 Bridge over I-91 south of East Main Street to the Route 15 NB 65A ramp to I-91 NB.
- I-691 WB from the I-691 WB bridge over Route 15 to the I-691 Bridge over Gravel Street.
- The Route 15 NB 65B ramp to I-691 WB.
- Route 15 NB and I-91 NB medians.
- Grade for approach slabs for the I-691 Bridge over Route 15 and the Route 15 NB Bridge over I-91 north of East Main Street
- Demolish pedestals for the East Main Street Bridge (I-91 side)
- Prep, pour, cure, patch and install penetrating sealer at various locations.
- Set and strip formwork on multiple bridge decks and bridge elements for the Route 15 NB
- Pour stem and backwall, and set and strip formwork for caps and pedestals for the Route 15 Bridge over I-91 south of East Main Street.
- Form and install rebar on multiple bridges.
- Install:
- Drainage on the Route 15 NB ramp to I-691 WB and in the I-91 and Route 15 medians.
- Illumination both permanent and temporary on I-691.
- Underground signal devices on East Main Street.
- Conduit on the Route 15 Bridge over I-91 south of East Main Street.
- Jacking columns and perform steel repairs at multiple bridges.
- Fall plantings at the Route 15 NB Exit 64A to I-91 NB and 65B ramp to I-691 WB
- Seeding in various areas.
NIGHTTIME WORK:
Sunday through Thursday nights from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM crews will conduct a variety of work. Please read about our night time noise and construction work here.
- Lane and ramp closures/stoppages on I-91, I-691, and Route 15.
- Excavate, backfill, formation of subgrade, place aggregate, and pave the Route 15 NB Exit 65B ramp to I-691 WB.
- Pour deck for the Route 15 NB Bridge over I-91 north of East Main Street.
- Install:
- Stone slope protection on the I-691 WB Bridge over Route 15
- Penetration sealer on various bridges
- Bituminous curbing in multiple areas
- Drainage on Route 15 NB and on the Route 15 Exit 65B ramp
NIGHT WORK—Lane Closures: Sunday through Thursday nights from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM: no lane closures are anticipated currently.
