FULL-DEPTH ROADWAY RECONSTRUCTION ON ROUTE 15NB will be performed with a lane closure on Route 15 Northbound from Miller Avenue to Paddock Avenue in the City of Meriden.
- This work is scheduled to occur for three separate weeks—two weeks for the right lane and one week for the left lane
- Time/dates: From Sundays at 6:00 PM to Fridays at 3:00 PM, beginning on Sunday, May 31 at 6:00 PM.

DAY WORK: During weekdays Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM crews will conduct a variety of work as noted throughout the I-91, I-691, Route 15 Interchange Phase 2 Project limits:
- Maintenance and protection of traffic with lane and shoulder closures on I-91, I-691, and Route 15, and some local roads, as required.
- Maintain stockpile locations, sweeping, dust control, as required.
- Excavate and backfill at the detention pond and install drainage.
- Excavate, backfill, formation of subgrade, and place process aggregate base Route 15 NB (from Paddock Avenue to the Route 15 NB bridge under East Main Street
- Excavate, formation of subgrade, and place process aggregate base at the I-91 NB ramp to East Main Street.
- Excavate, formation of subgrade, and place process aggregate base, and final grading at the I-91 NB ramp to Route 15 NB (Exit 17) and the Route 15 NB merge.
- Install parapet modules at various walls
- Excavate, formation of subgrade, and place process aggregate base, and final grading at Route 15 NB from Miller to Paddock Avenue.
- Pave shoulder widenings at the ramp from East Main Street to Route 15 NB and the I-91 NB ramp to East Main Street.
- Excavate, backfill and grade for demolition of abutments for the Route 15 NB bridges over I-91 south of and north of East Main Street.
- Set and strip formwork for various moment slabs for retaining walls and pour.
- Set and strip formwork for deck, parapet, and backwall for the I-691 WB bridge over Gravel Street.
- Prep, pour, cure, patch at various locations.
- Install seeding and plantings at multiple locations.
- Install illumination at multiple ramps, and illumination repairs.
- Install overhead sign foundations at various locations throughout the project limits.
- Onsite/offsite trucking.
NIGHT WORK: Sunday through Thursday nights from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM crews will conduct a variety of work as noted throughout the I-91, I-691, Route 15 Interchange Phase 2 Project limits:
- Lane Closures:
- I-91 SB lane closures (Exits 18-17) for bridge saw cut and demolition
- I-91 NB lane closures (Exits 15-18) to saw cut concrete pavement
- Ramp Closures with Detours:
- I-691 WB Exit 1B (I-691 WB to I-91 SB) Monday through Wednesday nights (June 1, 2, 3) and Sunday through Thursday nights (June 7 to 11).
- I-91 NB Exit 17 (Wednesday and Thursday nights, June 3 and 4).
- Route 15 NB Exit 64B—Route 15 NB to East Main Street (Wednesday night, June 3).
