Beginning Monday, October 20 through November 14 between 6 PM and 6 AM, weather permitting, bridge work will necessitate the nighttime closure of Gravel Street for safety during the construction. There will be detours in place to direct traffic to their destinations on Gravel Street as depicted in the graphics below.
Please be aware that bridge demolition work will create sound that may carry throughout the vicinity. Temporary sound mitigation barriers will be moved along with the demolition operation and reconfigured for other operations to attempt to contain the sound. Also, noise and vibration monitoring will be done throughout the operations and if necessary other modifications will be made.
While this work is taking place, under the bridge, Gravel Street will have protection with debris shields. Thank you for your patience during this construction operation.
