I-91 NB Exit 16 to Open in its New Alignment and Exit 17 to Close Permanently on July 16, 2026

Notice of the I-91 Northbound (NB) Exit 16 upcoming traffic shift to its new alignment as of Thursday night, July 16, 2026 from 9:00 PM, weather permitting:

  • I-91 NB Exit 17 will close permanently.
  • I-91 NB Exit 16 will be a two-lane ramp and go to Route 15 NB/ I-691 WB (left lane) & East Main Street (right lane)
