DAYTIME WORK:
Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM crews will conduct a variety of work as noted throughout the Project limits:
- Sawcut, excavate and backfill in the shoulder of the East Main Street ramp to I-91 SB
- Sawcut, excavate and backfill I-91 SB median from north end of project limits to Exit 17 for the added lane
- Set up and maintain water handling
- Excavate and stockpile streambed channel material at multiple culvert sites
- Rehabilitate various culverts
NIGHTTIME WORK – BRIDGE DEMOLITION—Beginning Sunday, July 19: Sunday through Thursday nights from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM – Bridge demolition work in the vicinity of the Route 15 SB ramp to I-91 SB over the I-91 SB ramp to Route 15 SB and Route 15 SB:
NIGHTTIME LANE CLOSURES:
Sunday through Thursday nights from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM crews will conduct a variety of work as noted throughout Project limits:
- Route 15 SB Exit 64B to Exit 62 for temporary barrier installation
- I-691 EB from Exit 3 to Exit 1B for temporary barrier installation
- I-91 SB from Exit 20 to Exit 19 for overhead sign support borings
NIGHTTIME RAMP CLOSURES AND DETOURS:
Closures anticipated from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM with posted detour routes, weather permitting, as follows:
- I-91 SB Exit 17 (ramp closure): The ramp from I-91 SB to East Main Street and Route 15 SB (Sunday night, 7/19) for temporary barrier installation
- Route 15 SB Exit 64A (ramp closure): The Route 15 SB Exit 64A ramp to I-91 SB (Sunday through Wednesday nights, 7/19 – 7/22) for temporary barrier installation, borings for overhead sign supports, and milling from Murdock Avenue to the southern limits.
- I-91 SB Exit 18 (ramp closure): The ramp from I-91 SB to I-691 WB (Monday night 7/20) for borings for overhead sign supports
