DAYTIME WORK:
Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM crews will conduct a variety of work as noted throughout the Phase 3 Project limits:
- Sawcut, excavated and backfill in the Route 15 SB median and the I-691 EB median
- Maintain water handling
- Excavate and stockpile streambed channel material
- Culvert rehabilitation
- Sawcut, excavate and backfill in the I-91 SB median from north end of project limits to Exit 17 for the added lane
NIGHTTIME LANE CLOSURES:
Sunday through Friday nights from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM crews will conduct a variety of work as noted throughout the Project limits:
- Route 15 SB from the on ramp from I-691 EB to Exit 64A for temporary widening
- I-91 SB (Exit 18 – 15) for bridge work, boring for overhead sign structures, and milling
- I-91 SB (Exit 20 to Exit 19) for survey for overhead sign structures
NIGHTTIME WORK – BRIDGE DEMOLITION/CONSTRUCTION: Sunday through Thursday nights from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM. Please read information concerning our noise mitigation efforts here.
NIGHTTIME RAMP/ROAD CLOSURES AND DETOURS:
Closures anticipated* from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM with posted detour routes, weather permitting, as follows:
- East Main Street on-ramp to I-91 SB and Route 15 SB: Ramp closure—Sunday through Thursday nights (7/26 – 7/30) for bridge work
- I-91 SB and Route 15 SB – Fifteen minute road closures on Wednesday, August 5, for overhead electrical wiring installation
- Murdock Avenue – Road closure Thursday, August 6, for electric work
- Murdock Avenue – One-way alternating traffic – Friday, August 7, for utilities work
