LABOR DAY HOLIDAY SCHEDULE: There will be no lane closures scheduled from Friday, September 4 at 3:30 PM through Tuesday morning, September 8 at 7:00 AM, in honor of the Labor Day Holiday, except for the case of emergencies.
DAYTIME WORK:
Except for the Holiday Schedule, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM crews will conduct a variety of work as noted throughout the Phase 3 Project limits:
- Culvert rehabilitation at multiple sites
- Maintain water handling
- Haul in and install stockpile supplemental streambed channel material
- Sawcut, excavate and backfill in the I-91 SB median from north end of project limits to Exit 17 for the added lane
- Sawcut, excavated and backfill in the Route 15 SB median and the I-691 EB median
- Construction staking sitewide
- Install cable north of Baldwin Avenue
- Install temporary lighting and support of excavation at the Route 15 SB ramp to I-91 SB over theI-91 SB ramp to Route 15 SB and Route 15 SB
- Install parapet caps, curb, deck ends at the I-691 EB Bridge over Gravel Street
- Install temporary water main at the Murdock Avenue Bridge over I-91
NIGHTTIME WORK:
Except for the Holiday Schedule, Sunday through Friday nights from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM crews will conduct a variety of work as noted:
- Concrete pavement replacement on I-91 SB from Murdock Avenue to the southern project limits
- Permanent median shoulder work on I-91 SB from Murdock Avenue to the southern project limits
- Borings for overhead sign structures
- Concrete deliveries for concrete pavement replacement
NIGHTTIME LANE CLOSURES:
Except for the Holiday Schedule, Sunday through Friday nights from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM crews will conduct a variety of work with lane closes as noted:
- I-91 SB (from the on ramp from East Main Street to I-91 SB to Exit 15) median replacement work and sawcutting
- I-91 SB (from the on ramp from Route 15 SB to I-91 SB to Exit 15) median replacement work and sawcutting
