DAY WORK:
During weekdays, Monday, May 12 through Friday, May 16, from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM crews will conduct a variety of work as noted below throughout the I-91, I-691, Route 15 Interchange Phase 2 Project limits:
- Maintenance and protection of traffic with lane and shoulder closures on I-91, I-691, and Route 15, and some local roads, as required.
- Maintain stockpile locations, sweeping, dust control.
- Excavate and backfill cofferdam and dewater temporary earth retaining for retaining wall on Route 15 NB north of Paddock Avenue Bridge.
- Install and backfill doublewall blocks and form and pour leveling pads for retaining wall on Route 15 NB north of Paddock Avenue Bridge.
- Demolition of abutment, wingwalls and footings for the Route 15 NB bridge over I-91.
- Set and strip formwork for pier footing and stem for the Paddock Avenue Bridge over Route 15.
- Set and strip formwork for pier footing for the Route 15 bridge over I-91 and pour stem.
- Bearing pedestal support replacement East Main Street bridge over Route 15 and I-91.
- Install light bases on I-91.
- Install wetland plantings.
- Onsite/offsite trucking.
- Deliver doublewall blocks.
NIGHTTIME LANE and RAMP CLOSURES:
Closures are possible Sunday through Friday nights from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM as follows:
- I-91 NB Lane closures: Double Right or Left Lane Closure (Exit 15 – 16) for paving.
- I-691 WB Lane closures: Left lane Closure (Exit 1A to 2A) for milling.
- I-91 NB Ramp closures: I-91 NB Exit 16 to East Main Street for paving.
- Route 15 NB Ramp closures: Route 15 NB to I-691 WB (Exit 68W) for milling.
- Route 15 NB Ramp closures: Route 15 NB to I-691 WB (Exit 68 N-E) for full-depth reconstruction.
NIGHT WORK:
During the Sunday through Friday nights from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM, crews will conduct a variety of work as noted below throughout Project limits:
- Shoulder reconstruction on I-91.
- Concrete pavement removal on Route 15 NB to I-91 NB (Exit 68 NE).
- Paving for leveling course on I-91 NB.
- Post-milling line striping.
- Onsite/offsite trucking.
LONG-TERM CLOSURES/TRAFFIC PATTERNS:
