When this exit is closed, the detour route will be as follows:
- Take Route 15 NB Exit 68 N-E onto Route 91 NB staying in the right lane
- From right lane, take Exit 18 to Route 66 EB
- Take Exit 1 to Preston Ave.
- Left onto Preston Ave.
- Left onto On-ramp for Route 66 and I-691 WB
