THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY
No work is anticipated on the project over the holiday from 6:00 AM on Wednesday, November 27 to 8:00 PM on Friday, November 29. No closures are scheduled except for emergency.
December 2 to December 6, during daytime hours, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, crews will conduct the following activities:
- Forming for parapet modifications on the I-691 EB bridge over Bee Street
- Removing asphalt and concrete on the I-691 EB off-ramp to I-91 NB
December 2 to December 5, during nighttime hours, from 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM, crews will conduct the following activities:
- Prepping the I-691 EB off-ramp to I-91 NB and the Route 66 WB off-ramp to I-91 NB for a traffic shift
- Epoxy line-striping for winter on I-91 NB
- Line striping for the traffic shift on the I-691 EB off-ramp to I-91 NB and the Route 66 WB off-ramp to I-91 NB
December 9 to December 13, during daytime hours, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, crews will conduct the following activities:
- Forming for the parapet modifications on the I-691 EB bridge over I-91 and the I-691 EB bridge over Bee Street
- Full depth roadway reconstruction including drainage infrastructure of the I-691 EB off-ramp to I-91 NB
TRAFFIC IMPACTS:
Monday, December 2 through Thursday, December 5, during nighttime hours from 8 PM to 6 AM, motorists should expect the following traffic impacts and closures:
- Closure of the I-691 EB off-ramp to I-91 NB (detour map below)
- Closure of the Route 66 WB off-ramp to I-91 NB (detour map below)
