Notice: Beginning on Monday, April 14, the emergency turnaround on I-91 NB near the Rest Area and north of Exit 19 on I-91 SB, will be closed for two weeks.
April 13 to April 17, during nighttime hours, from 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM, crews will conduct the following activities:
- Priming and blasting of the I-691 EB bridge over I-91 and the I-691 EB bridge over the ramp from I-691 WB to I-91 SB
- Milling of the I-91 NB bridge over Bee Street and I-91 NB north of the I-91 NB bridge over Baldwin Avenue
April 14 to April 18, during daytime hours, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, crews will continue the following activities:
- Excavation activities at I-91 NB bridge over Bee Street
- Installing the sound barrier wall panels and finishing the slopes on I-691 EB and I-91 NB
- Fine grading and paving on the I-691 EB off-ramp to I-91 NB
- Forming and pouring the transition barrier on the I-91 NB bridge over Bee Street
- Priming and blasting the I-691 EB bridge over the ramp from I-691 WB to I-91 SB and the I-691 EB bridge over I-91
- Installing lighting along the sound barrier wall on I-691 EB and I-91 NB
April 16 to April 17, during nighttime hours, from 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM, crews will conduct the following activities:
- Milling the I-91 NB bridge over Bee Street and the I-91 NB bridge over Baldwin Avenue
April 21 to April 25, during daytime hours, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, crews will continue the following activities:
- Excavation activities at I-91 NB bridge over Bee Street
- Installing the sound barrier wall panels and finishing the slopes on I-691 EB and I-91 NB
- Installing lighting along the sound barrier wall on I-691 EB and I-91 NB
- Full depth reconstruction of the I-91 NB turnaround
- Installing metal beam rail on the I-691 EB off-ramp to I-91 NB and the I-91 NB ramp to Route 66 WB
April 21 to April 24, during nighttime hours, from 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM, crews will conduct the following activities:
- Full depth concrete patches on I-691 EB
- Priming and blasting of bridges the I-691 EB bridge over I-91 and the I-691 EB bridge over the the ramp form I-691 WB to I-91 SB
- Milling bridge the I-91 NB bridge over Bee Street and I-91 NB north of bridge the I-91 NB bridge over Baldwin Ave.
- Priming and blasting the I-691 EB bridge over the ramp from I-691 WB to I-91 SB and the I-691 EB bridge over I-91
April 21 to April 22, during nighttime hours, from 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM, crews will conduct the following activities:
- Milling on the I-91 NB bridge over Bee Street and the I-91 NB bridge over Baldwin Avenue
April 21 to April 23, during nighttime hours, from 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM, crews will conduct the following activities:
- Moving the temporary barrier on I-91 NB
April 22 to April 24, during nighttime hours, from 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM, crews will conduct the following activities:
- Backing up the pavement and building the shelf on I-91 NB and Route 66 WB
April 24, during nighttime hours, from 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM, crews will conduct the following activities:
- Removing the cable rail on Route 66 EB

Sunday, April 13, during nighttime hours from 8 PM to 6 AM, motorists should expect the following traffic impacts and closures:
- I-91 NB right lane closure from Exit 17 to Exit 19
- I-91 NB double right lane closure from Exit 18 to Exit 19
- Closure of the Route 15 NB off-ramp to I-91 NB
