PLANNED CONSTRUCTION:
October 9 through October 12, during nighttime hours, from 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM, crews will conduct the following activities:
- Paving on I-691 EB
- Paving on I-91 NB
- Membrane activities on the I-91 NB bridge over Baldwin Avenue
- Painting safety-markings and post paving striping
October 10 and October 11, during daytime hours, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, crews will conduct the following activities:
- The following activities on the new bridge on the Exit 1A off-ramp from I-691 EB to I-91 NB
- Forming parapets, backwall and the bridge deck
- Rebar installation
- Membrane activities on the I-91 NB bridge over Baldwin Avenue
October 13 through October 17, during nighttime hours, from 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM, crews will conduct the following activities:
- Paving on I-91 NB
- Relocating temporary barriers on I-91 NB
- Painting safety-markings and post paving striping
October 14 through October 18, during daytime hours, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, crews will conduct the following activities:
- The following activities on the new bridge on the Exit 1A off-ramp from I-691 EB to I-91 NB
- Forming parapets, backwall and the bridge deck
- Grading the abutment 1 and abutment 2 approaches
- Pouring the deck
TRAFFIC IMPACTS:
Wednesday, October 9, and Thursday, October 10, during nighttime hours from 8 PM to 6 AM, motorists should expect the following traffic impacts and closures:
- I-91 NB right lane closure from Exit 17 to Exit 18
- I-91 NB double right lane closure from Exit 18 to the rest area
- I-691 EB right lane closure from Exit 1B to Exit 1
Sunday, October 13, through Tuesday, October 15, during nighttime hours from 8 PM to 6 AM, motorists should expect the following traffic impacts and closures:
- I-91 NB double left lane closure from Exit 18 to the rest area
- I-691 EB left lane closure from Exit 1B to Exit 1
- Closure of the I-691 EB off-ramp to I-91 NB
Wednesday, October 16, and Thursday, October 17, during nighttime hours from 8 PM to 6 AM, motorists should expect the following traffic impacts and closures:
- I-91 NB right lane closure from Exit 17 to Exit 18
- I-91 NB double right lane closure from Exit 18 to the rest area
- Closure of the Route 66 WB off-ramp to I-91 NB
- Closure of the I-691 EB off-ramp to I-91 NB
- I-691 EB right lane closure from Exit 1B to Exit 1
