PLANNED CONSTRUCTION
September 25 and September 26, during nighttime hours, from 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM, crews will conduct the following activities:
- Relocating the temporary barrier on I-91 NB
- Prepping bridges for membrane activities on I-691 EB
September 25 through September 27, during daytime hours, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, crews will conduct the following activities:
- Grading the approached on the new bridge on the Exit 1A off-ramp from I-91 NB
- Forming the parapets, backwalls, and deck on the new bridge on the Exit 1A off-ramp from I-91 NB
September 29 through October 3, during nighttime hours, from 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM, crews will conduct the following activities:
- Milling activities on I-91 NB
- Membrane activities on I-691 EB
- Painting safety-markings post milling on I-91 NB
- Installing deck pans and prepping membranes on the following bridges:
- I-691 EB bridge over I-91
- I-691 EB bridge over Bee Street
- I-691 EB bridge over the ramp from I-691 WB to I-91 SB
September 30 through October 4, during daytime hours, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, crews will conduct the following activities:
- Forming parapets, backwalls and the deck on the new bridge on the Exit 1A off-ramp from I-691 EB to I-91 NB
- Installing soundwall on the off-ramp from I-91 NB to Route 66 EB
TRAFFIC IMPACTS:
- Wednesday, September 25, and Thursday, September 26, during nighttime hours from 8 PM to 6 AM, motorists should expect the following traffic impacts and closures:
- I-91 NB right lane closure from Exit 17 to Exit 18
- I-91 NB double left lane closure from Exit 18 to the rest area
- I-691 EB right lane closure from Exit 1B to Exit 1
- Route 66 WB right lane closure from the Preston Avenue on-ramp to the I-691 WB off-ramp to I-91 SB
- Closure of the Route 66 WB off-ramp to I-91 NB on I-691 WB (9 PM to 6 AM)
- Route 66 WB left lane closure from the Preston Avenue on-ramp to the I-691 WB off-ramp to I-91 SB
- Sunday, September 29, through Tuesday, October 1, during nighttime hours from 8 PM to 6 AM, motorists should expect the following traffic impacts and closures:
- I-91 NB right lane closure from Exit 17 to Exit 18
- I-91 NB double right lane closure from Exit 18 to the rest area
- I-691 EB right lane closure from Exit 1B – Exit 1
- Wednesday, October 2, and Thursday, October 3, during nighttime hours from 8 PM to 6 AM, motorists should expect the following traffic impacts and closures:
- I-91 NB double left lane closure from Exit 18 to the rest area
- I-691 EB right lane closure from Exit 1B to Exit 1
