The Connecticut Department of Transportation is announcing daytime lane closures on I-691 EB in Meriden will occur on Saturday October 5 and Sunday October 6.
The lane closure will occur between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. on I-691 Eastbound between Exit 1B (to Rt 15 SB and I-91SB) and Exit 1A (to I-91 NB). It is anticipated the work will be completed in one weekend.
The lane closures are to facilitate installation of concrete waterproofing on three bridges decks in the I-91/I-691/Rt 15 Interchange. After the waterproofing membrane is installed the bridge decks will be paved for the winter.
