DAY WORK:
During weekdays, Monday, March 24 through Friday, April 11, from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM crews will conduct a variety of work as noted below throughout the I-91, I-691, Route 15 Interchange Phase 2 Project limits:
- Maintenance and protection of traffic with lane and shoulder closures on I-91, I-691, and Route 15, and some local roads, as required.
- Maintain stockpile locations, sweeping, dust control.
- Install access, excavate, and backfill for support of excavation for the Route 15 NB bridge over I-91, and set and strip formwork for footing and stem.
- Set and strip formwork for footing, wingwall and stem for the Paddock Avenue Bridge over Route 15, and pour and backfill footing.
- Pave temporary widening of Route 15 NB Exit 68 N-E off ramp.
- Surface repairs of the North Wall Street Bridge over I-691 abutments and center pier.
- Install access, strip topsoil in the I-91 median.
- Install overhead wiring for temporary lighting in the I-91 median.
- Install concrete doublewall blocks and form and pour leveling pads for retaining wall on Route 15 NB north of Paddock Avenue Bridge.
- Onsite and offsite trucking ongoing.
NIGHT WORK:
During Sunday through Thursday nights from Sunday, March 23 through Thursday, April 10, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM, crews will conduct a variety of work as noted below throughout Project limits:
- Coring for concrete pavement.
- Strip topsoil in the median of I-91.
- Milling for concrete pavement repairs on I-91 NB.
- Lane/shoulder closures on I-91 NB, Route15 NB and I-691 WB to perform the night work.
