From May 13 through May 23, during daytime hours, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, crews will conduct the following activities:
- On the I-91 NB bridge over Baldwin Avenue:
- Install wingwall parapets
- Pour wingwall parapets
- Drainage work and grading activities on I-691 EB
- Partial depth patching on the I-691 EB bridge over I-91
- Paving of I-91 NB left lane (behind the concrete barrier)
- Fine grading of topsoil on Route 66 WB off ramp to I-91 NB
From May 13 through May 17, during nighttime hours, from 8:30 PM to 6:00 AM, crews will conduct the following activities:
- Milling and paving on I-91 NB and I-691 EB
- Temporary barrier relocation and installation on I-91 NB
- I-91 NB traffic shift to the left from Exit 18 to the bridge over Baldwin Avenue
- Installation of the deck membrane on the I-91 NB bridge over Baldwin Avenue
- Safety markings after milling on I-91 NB
- Safety markings for traffic shift on I-91 NB
TRAFFIC IMPACTS:
On Monday, May 13, during nighttime hours, motorists should expect the following traffic impacts and closures:
- I-91 NB left lane closure near Exit 18, from 8:00 PM to 10 AM
- I-91 NB double left and right lane closure near Exit 18, from 10 PM to 2 AM
- Closure of the Route 66 EB off ramp to I-91 NB, from 10 PM to 6 AM (see detour graphic below)
- Closure of Route 66 WB off ramp to I-91 NB, from 10 PM to 6 AM (see detour graphic below)
On Tuesday, May 14, during nighttime hours, motorists should expect the following traffic impacts and closures:
- I-91 NB left lane closure near Exit 18, from 8:00 PM to 10 AM
- I-91 NB double left and right lane closure near Exit 18, from 10 PM to 2 AM
- From Wednesday, May 15 to Friday, May 17, during nighttime hours, motorists should expect the following traffic impacts and closures:
- I-91 NB left lane closure near Exit 18, from 8:00 PM to 10 AM
- I-91 NB double left and right lane closure near Exit 18, from 10 PM to 2 AM
- Closure of the Route 66 EB off ramp to I-91 NB, from 10 PM to 6 AM (see detour graphic below)
- Closure of Route 66 WB off ramp to I-91 NB, from 10 PM to 6 AM (see detour graphic below)
The closure of the Route 66 EB off ramp to I-91 NB will detour traffic to Exit 1 to Preston Avenue, back to I-91 NB.
The closure of the Route 66 WB off ramp to I-91 NB will detour traffic to Exit 1B to I-91 SB, to Exit 17 to Route 15 SB, take a left onto East Main Street, and back onto I-91 NB.
