From July 14 through July 18, during nighttime hours, from 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM, crews will conduct the following activities:
- Sawcutting roadway, drilling and plugging activities on I-91 NB
- Sawcutting roadway and concrete repairs on I-91 NB and I-691 EB
- Pulling and pouring concrete slabs on I-91 NB
- Joint work on the I-691 EB bridge over I-91 NB
From July 15 through July 19, during daytime hours, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, crews will conduct the following activities:
- Grading activities and forming of the subgrade and subbase on I-91 NB
- On the bridge on the exit ramp from I-691 EB over I-91 NB
- Grading of abutment 1 to the seat of the bridge
- Forming of the bridge seats on abutment 1 and abutment 2
- Grading activities on I-91 NB from the Preston Avenue on-ramp to I-91 NB to the I-91 NB off-ramp to the rest area
- Illumination of I-91 NB near the rest area
From July 21 through July 25, during nighttime hours, from 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM, crews will conduct the following activities:
- Sawcutting roadway, drilling and plugging activities on I-91 NB
- Sawcutting roadway and concrete repairs on I-91 NB and I-691 EB
- Pulling and pouring concrete slabs on I-91 NB
- Joint work on the I-691 EB bridge over I-91 NB
- Partial concrete depth repairs on I-691 EB
From July 22 through July 26, during daytime hours, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, crews will conduct the following activities:
- On the bridge on the exit ramp from I-691 EB over I-91 NB
- Grading of abutment 1 to the seat of the bridge
- Forming of the bridge seats on abutment 1 and abutment 2
- Grading activities on I-91 NB from the Preston Avenue on-ramp to I-91 NB to the I-91 NB off-ramp to the rest area
- Full depth concrete slab repairs and drainage improvements along Route 66 WB off-ramp to I-91 NB
- Grading I-91 NB to the road swale and topsoil slope
- Illumination on the I-91 NB bridge over Baldwin Avenue
TRAFFIC IMPACTS:
From Sunday, July 14, through Thursday, July 18, and from Sunday, July 21, through Thursday, July 25, during nighttime hours, motorists should expect the following traffic impacts and closures:
- I-91 NB right lane closure from Exit 18 to the rest area, from 8 PM to 10 PM
- I-91 NB double right lane closure from Exit 18 to the rest area, from 10 PM to 6 AM
- I-691 EB right lane closure from Exit 1B to Exit 1, from 8 PM to 6 AM
