On July 3, during daytime hours, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, crews will conduct the following activities:
- Full depth reconstruction of the Route 66 WB off-ramp to I-91 NB
- Full depth construction of the following ramps:
- I-691 EB off-ramp to I-91 NB and Preston Ave on-ramp to I-91 NB
- Preston Ave on-ramp to the I-91 NB off-ramp to the rest area
- Drainage of the Route 66 WB off-ramp to I-91 NB
- Building two bridge abutments on the exit ramp from I-691 EB to I-91 NB
- Utility relocations on I-91 NB
Crews will be out of the project area by 3:00 PM on Wednesday, July 3, and will return on Sunday, July 7, at 8:30 PM.
From July 7 through July 11, during nighttime hours, from 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM, crews will conduct the following activities:
- Sawcutting, drilling and plugging activities on I-91 NB
- Sawcutting activities on I-91 NB and I-691 EB roadway concrete repairs
- Pulling slabs on I-91 NB
- Partial depth repairs on the following bridges:
- I-691 EB bridge over I-91
- I-691 EB bridge over Bee Street
- I-691 EB bridge over the ramp from I-691 WB to I-91 SB
From July 8 through July 12, during daytime hours, from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, crews will conduct the following activities:
- Full depth reconstruction of the Route 66 WB off-ramp to I-91 NB

- On Tuesday, July 2, during nighttime hours, motorists should expect the following traffic impacts and closures:
- I-91 NB right lane closure near Exit 18 to the rest area, from 8 PM to 10 PM
- I-91 NB double right lane closure from Exit 18 to the rest area, from 10 PM to 6 AM
- From Sunday, July 7, through Thursday, July 11, during nighttime hours, motorists should expect the following traffic impacts and closures:
- I-91 NB right lane closure from Exit 18 to the rest area, from 8 PM to 10 PM
- I-91 NB double right lane closure from Exit 18 to the rest area, from 10 PM to 6 AM
- I-691 EB left lane closure from Exit 1B to Exit 1, from 8 PM to 6 pour
