PLANNED CONSTRUCTION:
On July 31 and August 1, during nighttime hours, from 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM, crews will conduct the following activities:
- Partial depth repairs on I-691 EB
- Pulling slabs on I-691 EB
- Sawcutting roadway and concrete repairs on I-91 NB and I-691 EB
- Haunch removal on the I-691 EB bridge over I-91
July 31 through August 2, during daytime hours, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, crews will conduct the following activities:
- Full depth construction and drainage activities on the Route 66 WB off-ramp to I-91 NB
- I-91 NB grading to the swale and topsoil slope
- I-91 NB drainage activities south of the I-91 NB bridge over Baldwin Avenue
- Forming and pouring of wall caps for abutment 1 and abutment 2 on the bridge on the exit ramp from I-691 EB over I-91 NB
August 4 through August 8, during nighttime hours, from 8:30 PM to 6:30 AM, crews will conduct the following activities:
- Pulling slabs on I-691 EB
- Partial depth repairs and backwall activities to the I-691 EB bridge over Bee Street
August 5 through August 9, during daytime hours, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, crews will conduct the following activities:
- Full depth construction and drainage activities on the Route 66 WB off-ramp to I-91 NB
- Forming and pouring of wall caps for abutment 1 and abutment 2 on the bridge on the exit ramp from I-691 EB over I-91 NB
- Fine grading on I-91 NB near the Preston Ave on-ramp to I-91 NB
- Full depth reconstruction and drainage activities on I-91 NB from the ramp from I-91 NB to Route 66 EB to the I-691 EB off-ramp to I-91 NB
TRAFFIC IMPACTS:
Wednesday, July 31 and Thursday, August 1, during nighttime hours from 8 PM to 6 AM, motorists should expect the following traffic impacts and closures:
- I-91 NB double right lane closure from Exit 15 to Exit 17
- I-91 NB right lane closure from Exit 17 to Exit 18
- I-91 NB double left lane closure from Exit 18 to the rest area
- I-691 EB left lane closure from Exit 1B to Exit 1
Sunday, August 4, through Thursday, August 8, between during nighttime hours from 8 PM to 6 AM, motorists should expect the following traffic impacts and closures:
- I-91 NB double right lane closure from Exit 15 to Exit 17
- I-91 NB right lane closure from Exit 17 to Exit 18
- I-91 NB double right lane closure from Exit 18 to the rest area
- I-91 SB double right lane closure from Exit 19 to Exit 17
