National Work Zone Awareness Week – April 21-25

National Work Zone Safety Awareness Week is an annual tradition to focus on the start of the construction season and protecting highway workers by teaching the public to slow down, move over, don’t drive distracted and don’t drive impaired.

The life you save may be your own.

See the CTDOT promo for this week on Facebook.

On Monday, April 21, CTDOT kicked off Work Zone Awareness Week with the Office of Governor Ned Lamont, Senator Richard Blumenthal and local crews and contractors at one of our active construction sites on the I-91, I-691, Route 15 Interchange Phase Two Project in Meriden.
