Ramp closures for the full depth roadway reconstruction will be performed at I-91 Northbound (NB) Exit 16 and Route 15 NB Exit 64-B to East Main Street in the City of Meriden.
This work is scheduled to occur continuously from Sunday, April 19, at 6:00 PM to Sunday, May 3, 2026 at 6:00 PM.
The ramps from I-91 NB Exit 16 and from Route 15 NB Exit 64-B to East Main Street in the town of Meriden will be closed continuously starting Sunday, April 19, at 6:00 PM to Sunday, May 3, 2026 at 6:00 PM. Detour maps are below. Traffic will be detoured as follows:
I-91 NB Exit 16 to East Main Street Closure and Detour: Take Exit 17
- Take Exit 17 to Route 15 NB
- Take Exit 65-A
- Keep right and take Exit 18 to Route 66 EB
- Take Exit 1 to Preston Ave.
- Right onto Preston Ave.
- Straight to E. Main St.
Route 15 NB Exit 64-B to East Main Street Closure and Detour; Take Exit 65-A
- Continue on Route 15 NB and take Exit 65-A onto Route 91 NB
- Stay in right lane to take Exit 18 to Route 66 EB
- Take Exit 1 to Preston Ave.
- Right onto Preston Ave.
- Straight to E. Main Street
