DAY WORK:
During weekdays, Monday through Friday from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM crews will conduct a variety of work as noted below throughout the I-91, I-691, Route 15 Interchange Phase 2 Project limits:
- Maintenance and protection of traffic with lane and shoulder closures on I-91, I-691, and Route 15, and some local roads, as required.
- Maintain stockpile locations, sweeping, dust control.
- Excavate, backfill and dewater temporary earth retaining for retaining wall on Route 15 NB north of Paddock Avenue Bridge over Route 15 and install precast concrete blocks.
- Excavate and backfill for retaining walls from Route 15 NB over I-91 south of the East Main Street Bridge and continuing along the ramp to East Main Street.
- Install permanent barrier in the I-91 NB median.
- Form and pour leveling pads for retaining walls along the I-91 NB and Route 15 NB Exit ramps to East Main Street and install precast concrete blocks.
- Set and strip formwork for deck and parapets for the Paddock Avenue Bridge over Route 15.
- Set and strip formwork for deck and parapets for the new bridge over the future I-91 NB ramp to Route 15 NB and pour bridge deck.
- Form and strip stem, backwall and wingwall for the Route 15 NB over I-91 south of the East Main Street Bridge.
- Prep, pour, cure, patch, and rub concrete at various locations as required.
- Onsite/offsite trucking.
NIGHTTIME ROAD CLOSURES:
Closures are possible Sunday through Friday nights from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM as follows:
- Route 15 NB – 15 minute road closures Monday through Thursday, July 21 through Thursday July 24 for overhead sign structure removal
- I-91 NB Exit 17 Ramp closure and detour Tuesday, July 22, for overhead sign structure removal
- Route 15 NB Exit 68 N-E ramp closure and detour Wednesday, July 23, for traffic shift
NIGHTTIME LANE CLOSURES:
Closures are possible Sunday through Friday nights from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM as follows:
- I-91 NB for concrete slab repairs and drainage crossings
- Route 15 NB for installation of illumination crossings
- East Main Street (East Main Street Bridge) for bridge reconstruction work
NIGHT WORK:
Sunday through Friday nights from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM, crews will conduct a variety of work as noted below throughout Project limits:
- Demolition and work on the East Main Street bridge
- Sawcut for concrete pavement replacement on I-91 NB
LONG-TERM CLOSURES/TRAFFIC PATTERNS:
