NOTE THE HOLIDAY SCHEDULE
The contractor will not be working on the project during the weeks of December 22 and December 29 (from Sunday, December 22 to Sunday, January 5). Work will resume at 6:00 AM on January 6, 2025.
NIGHT WORK
Anticipated work for the week of December 15 will be from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM (Sunday through Thursday nights and possibly Friday and Saturday nights):
- Excavate and backfill abutments and demolition of wingwalls of Paddock Avenue Bridge
- Perform borings for overhead sig structures
- Drill, pin, and bolt temporary barrier at various locations
- Ramp and lane closures (as required – to be announced)
DAY WORK
From Monday, December 16 through Friday December 20, anticipated work throughout the Phase 2 Project limits is summarized below:
- Maintenance and protection of traffic on I-91, I-691, and Route 15, and some local roads.
- Excavate for Route 15 bridge under Paddock Avenue.
- Install production piles for Paddock Avenue bridge.
- Excavate for retaining wall for new Route 15 Exit 67 Bridge to East Main Street, install temporary earth retaining system, cofferdam, double wall blocks
- Form and pour leveling pads for retaining wall for new Route 15 Exit 67 Bridge
- Install support of excavation at Paddock Avenue bridge
- Install permanent drainage at Route 15 NB Exit 67 to East Main Street.
- Route 15 NB and SB median relocation
- Form and install rebar at retaining wall footing and stem
