NIGHT WORK
Week of July 8, 2024 from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM
- 15-minute stoppages on I-91, I-691 an Route 15
- Relocate temporary barrier on Route 15 NB and Paddock Ave.
- Traffic shift possible on Route 15 NB at Paddock Avenue for pavement marking striping
- Highway illumination repairs I-91 NB and SB
Week of July 15, 2024 from 7:00 PM to 6:00 AM
- 15-minute stoppages on I-91, I-691 an Route 15
- Temporary barrier work on ramps: East Main Street on-ramp to Route 15 NB and I-91 NB; Route 15 NB Exit 67 off-ramp; and Route 15 NB Exit 68 N-E off-ramp
- Removal of rumble strips and milling and paving on I-91 NB and Route 15 NB
- Traffic shift on I-91 NB ramps Route 15 NB Exit 67 off-ramp and I-91 NB Exit 16 for pavement marking striping
- Install drainage crossings on Route 15 NB
- Perform asbestos testing and removals at Paddock Avenue Bridge over Route 15
DAY WORK
During weekdays, Monday, July 8 through Friday, July 19, from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM crews will conduct a variety of work as noted below on throughout the I-91, I-691, Route 15 Interchange Phase 2 Project limits:
- Maintenance and protection of traffic with lane and shoulder closures on I-91, I-691, and Route 15, and some local roads
- Excavate, backfill and form subgrade on Route 15 NB
- Excavate and backfill stone base to grade at the Route 15 NB bridge over I-91
- Pave temporary ramps and widenings on ramps: East Main Street on-ramp to Route 15 NB and I-91 NB; Route 15 NB Exit 67 off-ramp; I-91 NB Exit 16; and Route 15 NB Exit 68 N-E off-ramp
- Formwork for the Route 15 NB bridge over I-91 abutment wingwall and footings
- Perform highway illumination repairs
- Install temporary illumination for the East Main Street on-ramp to Route 15 NB and I-91 NB
- Install temporary drainage at Exit 17 gore area (detention basin area)
- Eversource gas main work at Paddock Avenue.
