When the East Main Street on-ramp to Route 15 SB and I-91 SB is closed, the detour route is as follows, with a graphic below. Please check the weekly update to find out if this ramp will be closed.

  • Travel East on East Main Street
  • Left onto Preston Avenue
  • Left onto the on-ramp for I-691 WB
  • Take Exit 1-B (on left) to I-91 SB (towards I-91/Route 15 SB and New Haven)
  • Take Exit 17 to Route 15 SB
