No Night Work during the week of June 17 due to the Travelers Championship
Week of June 23, 2024 from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM
- Drill and pin temporary barrier along Route 15NB
- Remove metal beam rail on Route 15 NB
- Remove rumble strip on I-691 WB right lane, and mill and pave
- Shift traffic on I-691 WB, Route 15 NB Exit 68 W off ramp through the project limits
- Remove pavement to subgrade in the median of Route 15 between Miller Ave. and Paddock Ave.
- Sawcutting for road widening and drainage crossings at Route 15 NB
Install drainage crossings on Route 15 NB
DAY WORK
During weekdays, Monday, June 17 through Friday, June 28, from 6:00 AM to 3:30 PM crews will conduct a variety of work as noted below throughout the I-91, I-691, Route 15 Interchange Phase 2 Project limits:
- Maintenance and protection of traffic with lane and shoulder closures on I-91, I-691, and Route 15, and some local roads
- Form subgrade for temporary ramp widening at Route 15 NB Exit 69 N-E ramp
- Excavate to subgrade Route 15 NB Exit 68 W off ramp
- Excavate and backfill, form subgrade for new ramp I-91 NB Exit 16, East Main Street on-ramp to Route 15 NB andI-91 NB, I-691 WB and the Route 15 NB Exit 67 off-ramp
- Remove existing concrete pavement at the Route 15 NB detention basin and excavate and backfill to subgrade
- Drill and pin temporary barrier along the Route 15 NB Exit 68 W off ramp
- Survey
- Remove metal beam rail at temporary barrier locations
- Perform highway illumination repairs
- Install temporary drainage at the detention basin area
- Relocate overhead wires at Paddock Avenue
